Flashback Friday...

The other day I was going through our filing cabinet where I also keep special cards and notes. I found a card that Billy's Grandfather had written us less than a year after we were married. I LOVED what he wrote, and I thought I would share just a couple of sentences...

"It is people like you, with values and lifestyles like yours, who constitute the strength of the nation and the hope of the world. I know this sounds like grandfatherly hyperbole, but the truth is that the middle class masses of America provide the energy and example crucial to peace and happiness.
Or to put it another way, you are important; don't forget it nor underestimate yourselves."

This really makes me smile. He is such a wise man! I am CONVINCED Grandpa Harmer needs to run for President! I, for sure, would give him my vote.
