We decided to take Hailey to the Easter Egg-Stravaganza that the YCC puts on at the Elementary. This was Hailey's first egg hunt/run, so I was pretty excited to see her in action. There were like 8 million little kids there, and luckily they separate the kids into 3 groups according to age. It is nice that the little kids didn't have to compete with the older kids, because I think Billy would have decked some of them. On your first run, you can only get 3 eggs. On your second run, you can get as many eggs as you can grab. Unfortunately, with that many kids, Hailey only got 2 more eggs. Oh well. It was still fun!
Inside the school they had a lot going on, including getting your picture taken with the Easter Bunny, getting an Easter rub-on tattoo, making an Easter Bunny out of a paper sack, drawings for Easter baskets, and a few other things. It was pretty crazy with all those people there, but I think Hailey had a great time! She didn't even cry when we met the Easter Bunny!

How Fun! That is so great that Hailey wasn't scared! We were at an Easter egg hunt this morning, and as soon as the Easter Bunny showed up Sadie went into the full body convultions and Sam ran away any time the bunny was around and then kept her eye on it at all times!! Isn't it so fun though, that they are getting old enough to understand the fun holiday stuff?! Glad you had fun!
